Differences between Cosmos and Tierra
In this section the main areas in which Cosmos differs from Tierra are
highlighted. A fuller explanation of why some of these differences
were incorporated into the system can be found in [Taylor & Hallam 97].
In the following, the extension of standard Tierra to deal with
parallel processes, as described in [Thearling & Ray 94] and
[Thearling 94], is referred to as `Parallel Tierra'.
